Joel Baca’s work is an exploration of personal nostalgia and cultural iconography, a deliberate interplay between abstract shapes, gestural marks, and figurative motifs. Born in New Mexico, his art reflects the vast landscapes and deep-rooted cultural heritage of his upbringing.
